Set up and maintain democratic and transparent governance that works solely for the benefit of The Bell Inn and its communities and users.
Our Vision
Our vision has been informed by feedback from the initial campaign meeting and the subsequent user survey, research into successful community pubs, analysis of the demographics within the two villages and the wider area (up to a 20 minute drive time), and a review of competitors and likely local suppliers. This is not just about a pub: it is about maintaining the community
and services in our villages and investing in their future. This community run enterprise will benefit the villages, both now and for future generations.

• Save and improve The Bell Inn and safeguard it as a community asset as a pub and hub.
• Contribute to a strong sense of community by giving local people the means of shaping and developing the business.
• Support local employment and producers and to strengthen the local economy.
• Have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the community and reduce social isolation.
• Provide a warm safe space and welcoming environment for all members of our community, helping to build networks of friends and contacts.
• Reduce car use and the need to travel longer distances for the same services.
• Support local community groups by distribution of profits.
