Somerset Day 'pop-up-pub'!

We had a lot of fun at the Somerset Day shindig at the village hall on the 10th May.
As well as the dog fancy dress, best cakes and jams and art display from our talented villagers, we ran a 'pop-up-pub' to raise funds for our campaign. Our lovely friends at On The Level brewery supplied a firkin of their tasty summer pale ale and the team at Brays Cider kindly supported us too (their elderflower cider is a lovely summer tipple!). Both of these great suppliers are just a stones throw from the village. Needless to say the crowds drank the firkin dry and we sold lots of other drinks too, raising a tidy £390 for the campaign - so big thanks to everyone who attended.
